The bank will provide £180 to new and existing customers who move their bank account to a Santander Everyday, Edge, Edge Up, or Private current account.

The Santander Edge account provides £180 in cash and also includes access to a 6% easy-access savings account and 1% cashback on bills. How to Get Your Santander £180 Switch Incentive

Open a new Santander Edge, Edge Up, Everyday or Private (v2) current account online or book an appointment in a branch. (Your current account that you held can be switched to your existing Santander current account.)

Use the Current Account Switch Service and submit to switch your external current account to your eligible account before we remove our offer. Your old account will close as part of this process. Existing Santander account holders can submit a switch in online banking or book an appointment in branch.

Within 60 days of the initial switch request, you must have:

  • Complete the full switch using the Current Account Switch Service.
  • Paid at least £1,500 into your eligible account.
  • 2 active selected household Direct Debits on your eligible account.

Direct Debits must stay active on the day we make the payment.
Selected household Direct Debits comprise your council tax, mobile phone, home phone, broadband, paid-for TV packages, water, gas, and electricity bills.
